Pre-production begins weeks before. We build a shot list from your schedule, identify the rituals that matter most to your family, and plan audio capture for the vows and speeches. Clean sound is the single biggest differentiator between an amateur and a professional film.
On the day, cinematographers work separately from the photography team, prioritising motion, sequence and coverage rather than single frames. Gimbals for movement, primes for intimacy, a locked wide for safety.
Post-production is where the film is born. We ingest and back up everything twice, cut a teaser within two weeks, then build the feature edit around a narrative spine — usually your vows or a letter recorded before the wedding. Colour grading happens last, in a calibrated suite, so what you see is what prints and projects correctly.
Eight weeks sounds long. It is the difference between a video and a film you will still watch on your tenth anniversary.
